COVID 19

During the COVID-19 situation I was very busy helping the community.

Firstly I tried to repair children’s bikes for free and when Lockdown meant I could not work, I didn’t sit at home.

Then I was out stacking shelves, delivering food parcels to people who were self isolating and shielding and also delivering medication for the NHS.

Since reopening, the sales of used donated bikes have raised over £20,000 for local charities, Foodbanks, homeless and helping to feed children in poverty, Guide dogs, firefighters fund, supporting families with children with neurological illnesses and sporting programmes for young people with mental health issues.

So far I have recycled over 220 bikes for sale and 85 that have been stripped down for working parts during the pandemic that would have gone to waste.
